Your Second Visit to Our Tacoma Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

After we study your health history and correlate our examination findings, we’ll make recommendations designed to help you restore and maintain your health. We call this the Report of Findings.

When we have completely discussed all of your findings and have agreed upon the necessary treatment schedule to accomplish your health goals, we will proceed with the Atlas Orthogonal Instrument adjustment.

Following this adjustment, re-evaluation x-rays will be taken to measure the the amount and accuracy of the correction of your vertebral subluxation complex. The post x-ray provides us with the means to determine the exact correction obtained and to make any changes necessary to provide you with optimal correction.

You will be given home care instructions and the doctor will discuss your post adjustment x-ray findings. Before leaving one of our front office team members will set up your treatment schedule and make any financial arrangements necessary. Your second visit will take approximately one hour.

Dr. Simmons Asks some important questions of interest to Tacoma residents - Chiropractor Tacoma Dr. Simmons Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
Why does chiropractic work?
Chiropractic works because your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body, controls and regulates every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body. A chiropractor locates and reduces areas of nervous system compromise (usually along the spine) so your capacity to heal is restored. Chiropractic works by helping your body work as it was designed.
